Action Renewables is a leading provider of renewable energy expertise. We provide support for renewable energy development, through trading electricity and renewable energy certificates. We also develop and engage in European Projects. We are a registered charity, a company limited by guarantee. Our vision is to create a Northern Ireland which recognises the serious impacts of climate change and will take measures to prevent and mitigate against those impacts, through using renewable energy, energy efficiency, renewable transport and renewable products.

Action Renewables has a strong interest in the continuing evolution of the hydrogen sector and sees it as a key area for future growth in helping to achieve solutions to aid in climate change mitigation and adaptation. We are partners in a range of EU funded Hydrogen projects including “Hydrogen Utilisation and Green Energy (HUGE)” which is looking to investigate the current state of and future potential for development of the hydrogen supply chain across the Northern Periphery. We are also a partner in “SEAFUEL”, a project looking to develop a pilot site for the electrolysis of sea water to create hydrogen to use in vehicles on an island setting.
