Led by the University of Galway in collaboration with the Universities of the Basque Country, Groningen, Ghent, and Bern, ETHYC (Education and Training for Hydrogen eCosystems) is an ENLIGHT project funded in the 2025. For 2 years, the consortium will establish a multidisciplinary hydrogen education and training network to consolidate partnerships within these 5 universities while developing connections with new partners from across the ENLIGHT alliance and beyond – including academia, industry, NGOs, civil society, and governmental bodies.
ETHYC is strengthening ties with existing hydrogen initiatives, leveraging from regional hydrogen valleys in the partner countries, while exploring their hydrogen value chain and current educational offerings to better engage with stakeholders at local, European, and international levels.
The 3-hour event on November 18th will feature 2 keynote speakers, one panel discussion and a catered networking break when participants will be invited to contribute to our Irish hydrogen education, skills, and opportunities survey, helping to shape the future of the sector.
