The European Commission has allocated to the Brussels based Clean Hydrogen Partnership an additional £200 million through REPower EU to double the number of hydrogen valleys in Europe by 2025. At the ‘Towards an EU Roadmap for Hydrogen Valleys’ event in Brussels the opportunities and challenges in rolling out and scaling up hydrogen valleys in Europe were discussed. Hydrogen Ireland Director Paul McCormack was an invited attendee and Paul has had direct discussions with Clean Hydrogen Partnership Director Bart Biebuyck and the EU Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth Mariya Gabriel about Ireland’s future hydrogen roadmap.
