Hydrogen Ireland Board Member and GenComm Programme Manager Paul McCormack this week welcomed a new report that predicts a large increase in green energy jobs.
The Local Government Association (LGA) has released a report stating that approximately 700,000 jobs could be created in the low-carbon and renewable energy industry in England by 2030, rising to 1 million by 2050. The report referred to as ‘Local green jobs – accelerating a sustainable economic recovery’ predicts a surge in clean energy industry jobs throughout the next few years.
